Step 1: Put some glue along the top of your felt. Pick your paper straws and glue them accordingly so they have the same space left out on both sides of the felt. Roll the felt on top of the straws and this is the first step of creating the banner.
Step 2: Cut the two lower sides of your banner diagonally to get a right angle triangle.
Step 3: Cut a 12 cm diameter circle for the head out of one of your choice of skin coloured cardstock.
Step 4: Now move on to cut your second choice of coloured cardstock for your grandma's t-shirt. Make sure it's not wider than the head and the space left at the bottom of your banner.
Step 5: Glue the t-shirt and to complete the perfect outfit for your grandma, glue the paper lace doilies for the collar and then glue the head. You can decorate the t shirt with your watercolours or coloured pencils. You can draw some hearts, lines, dots, flowers, anything you like!
Step 6: Cut a few smaller circles out of the gray felt for the hair. Feel free to do any hairstyles you prefer. Glue the hair so then we can move on to the facial features.
Step 7: Add the eyes , nose, eyebrows , glasses, anything to make it look almost like your grandma !
At the end of this craft make sure you tie on the straw at the end of the folded felt a string so your grandma can proudly display this in her house

.
Step 1: Take your two A4 papers and start folding one. Flip it over and fold it back over this fold as close to the same size as possible. Continue folding accordion style and cut it off evenly if needed. Take your folded stack of paper and compress it together and fold it in half and crease it. Use the staple to stabilize the crease in the middle.
Step 2: You will now fan out the folds using the fold as the center point of your circle until the ends meet. Now use your clear scotch tape to secure the ends together. Each piece will make half of a fan, so securing two pieces together with the glue will make the whole circular fan.
Step 3: Make a round head from cardboard or paper and decorate it with your mum's features, glasses, freckles, skin tone hair and eye colour, eyebrows, makeup, hair accessories, etc. You can also add some yarn for the hair. Be as creative as you like.
Step 4: Grab your paper lace doilies and glue them in the middle of the fan. Glue the head in the middle of the paper lace doily.
Step 5: Cut two pieces of ribbon to glue at the back of your fan.
You can create one for grandma or another family member to express how important they are to you.
